USCIS has announced on March 25, 2020 that it has temporarily closed its offices in Rome, Italy and Nairobi, Kenya to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This follows the March 12 announcement that the U.S. embassies were closed to routine services. While the office will reschedule all of the appointments, officers will continue to respond to email inquires. USCIS has not accounted at this time when the offices are scheduled to open. Contact information and updated information will be posted on the individual offices website for Nairobi and Rome.
