Miriam Lacroix Joins Scott Legal

Ms. Lacroix received both her undergraduate and Juris Doctor degrees from Pace University and is licensed to practice law in the State of New York.  After law school, Miriam was chosen to serve as a Justice Fellow in the inaugural class of the Immigrant Justice Corps, a highly competitive program initiated by Chief Judge Robert Katzmann of the U.S. Court of Appeals as a response to crisis in legal representation for immigrants. She was placed at the City Bar Justice Center where she, for a period of two years, provided high-quality legal assistance including: naturalization, deportation defense, and affirmative applications for juveniles and victims of crime, domestic violence, and human trafficking.  Ms. Lacroix focuses on the aforementioned areas and will assist Scott Legal with matters involving removal defense and humanitarian applications for relief.  Ms. Lacroix speaks Haitian Creole and English.
