Ian E. Scott will be a speaker on the E-2 panel at the National American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Conference in Orlando this June. Mr. Scott will sit on a panel with 3 other E-2 visa experts and will speak on number of E-1 and E-2 visa topics.
AILA is the largest immigration organization in the world with over 15,000 lawyers as members. The AILA conference takes place over a 3-day period and thousands of lawyers attend. AILA selects presenters based on a reputation for excellence in the subject mater area and a demonstrated commitment to sharing important knowledge. This is the second year Mr. Scott has been selected to speak on this topic.
The Treaty Trader (E-1) and Treaty Investor (E-2) visa categories allow nationals of countries with which the United States maintains a special treaty to be admitted to the United States when investing in a U.S. entity or engaging in international trade. As other visa categories grow increasingly restrictive, the E-1/E-2 can be a great option for those that qualify.
