News on Monday afternoon states that this new Executive Order will also suspend new H-1B, H-4, H-2B, J, and L visas, with some exceptions. Rumors claim that President Trump will block the entry of foreign workers on H-1B visas for skilled workers and L-1 visas for workers being transferred within a company through the end of the year. The president will also block seasonal workers on H-2B visas, with an exception for workers in the food service industry. Whether this ban will apply to those who are already in the country on these visas is unknown at this time. For more information on the requirements of the H1B visa, please click here.
