The filing period for 2024 H-1B cap petitions comes to an end on June 30, 2023. Employers have until June 30th to file FY 2024 H-1B cap petitions and supporting evidence with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Once this filing period ends, USCIS will determine if they meet the required 85,000 registrations. If the annual cap is not met, USCIS may decide to conduct a second H-1B cap registration lottery.
