After halting all in person interviews and naturalization ceremonies for 3 months since March amid the coronavirus pandemic, USCIS has resumed naturalization ceremonies last week. Naturalization involves the filing of an application after the Legal Permanent Resident becomes eligible to apply for Citizenship. Naturalization is the process of becoming a U.S. citizen. In order to apply for naturalization, you must meet several requirements, described in more detail here. As part of the process, you will submit an N-400 Application for Naturalization to the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services. To learn more about naturalization and citizenship, please click here. According to the government, USCIS naturalizes around 60,000 people every month.
