One of our E-2 clients was just approved for an EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) I-140 petition. We filed the NIW petition for an applicant that is an entrepreneur who proposed to help U.S. electric vehicle (EV) companies develop improved marketing strategies to increase EV adoption in a greater variety of populations and states. Successful NIW petitions can be mounted for professionals in diverse fields, and are not necessarily limited to STEM. NIW petitions are very subjective and require lawyers who deeply understand the rules and case law. With the NIW approval, the client is able to move forward with his green card.
