Scott Legal, P.C. just received an approval for an H-1B extension of employer with USCIS based on recapturing time the applicant spent outside the United States. Although employees can usually only remain in the U.S. for 6 years on an H-1B visa, any 24 hour periods spent outside the U.S. during the time they are on an H-1B can be recaptured  to allow them to extend their H-1B status. The petitioning company is an executive recruitment firm.
