We just had an E-2 investor visa approved at the U.S. Embassy in London. The applicant was renewing their E-2 visa & was granted the visa for 5 years. Due to the current Presidential Proclamation banning travel from the UK, the applicant also needed a national interest exception, which was approved by the Embassy 5 days after the interview. The national interest exception gives the applicant 30 days to enter the U.S. The business is a communication design studio based in New York.
