We just had an E-2 investor visa approval at the U.S. Consulate in Toronto.  The applicant was granted the visa for 5 years and the business sells and installs industrial shelving and commercial storage equipment. The applicant has been running the business successfully in the U.S. based on a change of status through U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services. Applicants who receive a change of status to E-2 status through U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services and then travel outside the U.S. must present a complete application at a Consulate in order to get an E-2 visa stamp. The business will be based in Texas.
