We just had an E-2 employee visa approval at the U.S. Consulate in London. The applicant was a Slovenian national who is a permanent resident of the United Kingdom. The applicant purchased a coffee shop based in Ohio, which specializes in the retail of gourmet coffee and French pastries. In developing the E-2 enterprise, the applicant purchased an existing business with eight employees and renovated it to expand its offerings. Please note that the U.S. Consulate in London requires E-2 applicants demonstrate their ongoing UK residency in order to apply at the Consulate.
