Conditional Green Card Approved for Spouse of U.S. Citizen

We are happy to announce a recent green card approval for a client based on their marriage to a U.S. citizen. Because the marriage was less than two years old at the time of the approval, our client was granted a two-year conditional green card.

This is a standard step in the process for recent marriages. To secure permanent residency, the couple will jointly file Form I-751 to remove the conditions on the green card. This can be done in the 90-day period before the conditional card expires. We congratulate our clients on this happy milestone and look forward to assisting them with the next step.

If you have questions about the marriage-based green card process, we invite you to schedule a consultation with our experienced legal team.
