
We had a B-1 Domestic Worker (Nanny) visa approval at the U.S. Consulate in Doha, Qatar. The applicant, a national of the Philippines, qualified for a special type of B-1 visa which allows her to work as a domestic worker (Nanny) for her employer who will be temporarily stationed in the United States on a non-immigrant work visa. Domestic employees of non-immigrant visa holders and certain U.S. citizens with a permanent or regular residence outside the US can apply for a B-1 visa which allows them to work while their employers are temporarily stationed in the United States.
