The U.S. State of Florida has imposed checkpoints on their borders with Alabama and Georgia. Police checkpoints are set up on the I-95 and I-10 when crossing into the state. Drivers and their passengers coming from Louisiana, New York, New Jersey or Connecticut will be required to fill out a “traveler form” at the checkpoint that includes their contact information and the details of their trip. These travelers will also be required to stay isolated for the first 14 days they are in the state. If their visit is shorter than that, they have to stay isolated the entire time.

Anyone entering the state “from an area with substantial community spread” has to be under isolation or quarantine. This doesn’t apply to people “performing military, emergency, health or infrastructure response” or people who work in a neighboring state and commute to work in Florida.
