We just had an O-1 visa approval for a social media influencer aka branding consultant at the U.S. Consulate in London. The applicant was renewing his expired O-1 visa and had recently secured an O-1 renewal petition approved by USCIS. Certain J, O and P applicants who are renewing a visa of the same classification that is still valid or expired within the last 12 months are eligible for the interview waiver program offered by the consulate in London. We had the applicant send in his passport along with the required documents, and the visa was issued without the need to attend an in-person interview.
