Overcoming inadmissibility for immigrant visa applications (I-601 and I-601A)
Immigrant visa applicants who are subject to any of the grounds of inadmissibility may overcome their inadmissibility through an I-601 or I-601A waiver upon showing extreme hardship to a qualifying relative who is a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
