Scott Legal just had another Canadian TN approval. The applicant was granted the visa for 6 months for a temporary position as a pharmacist. Although the applicant had years of experience as a pharmacist and had a pharmacist related degree, great care is always needed to endeavor to connect the employer’s job duties for the position to the applicant’s education and experience.
Although this case was an application to amend the applicant’s status through U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, TN applications for Canadian nationals can be adjudicated at a port of entry; Mexican nationals applying for TN visas must do so at a U.S. Consulate or U.S. Embassy. It is recommended to call the port of entry in advance of applying given the current situation with COVID-19.
