Lottery numbers displayed

USCIS has announced that it has completed the regular and advanced degree selection lotteries and have notified employers of selection results. Employers can now log into their H-1B cap registration accounts with MyUSCIS to learn which beneficiaries have been selected. The H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that permits a company to hire workers in specialty occupations.  This visa category requires that the beneficiary (the foreign worker) have a bachelor’s degree, and the petitioner (the U.S. company) can employ the worker for up to six years. Only applicants that have been selected in the lottery are able to submit their full applications. USCIS will begin to accept H-1B cap petitions on April 1, 2022. The petition filing period will end no earlier than 90 days thereafter.
