We just had an E-2 investor visa approval at the U.S. Consulate in Auckland for a dual citizen of New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Previously, the applicant had applied in the United Kingdom and was renewing his E-2 visa in Auckland this time. The business is an online web platform that promotes bike riding programs. The applicant is the majority owner of the parent company in the United Kingdom and the parent company owns the U.S. business. Under the regulations, the nationality of a business is determined by the nationality of the individual owners of that business. Accordingly, the applicant was able to use his New Zealand nationality to apply for the renewal in Auckland.
