Scott Legal, P.C. just had an E-2 visa approval at the U.S. Consulate in Tokyo, Japan. The visa was granted to a Japanese national for a service oriented business that included offering investment services among other things. E-2 visas can be issued for up to 5 years and renewed indefinitely. Based on data published by the U.S. Government, Japanese nationals are granted the largest number of E-2 visas (over 50% of the E-2 visas granted). While many of these visas are for E-2 employees for multinational companies, E-2 visas are also available for service and other smaller businesses.
