Michaela Vrazdova Romesser, Esq.

Senior Associate


Ms. Vrazdova advises individuals and corporations on nonimmigrant and immigrant visa options with a specific focus on business immigration. She has particular expertise with E-1 visas, E-2 visas, H-1Bs, E-3s, L-1s, and TNs and Eb-1a and Eb-1c employment-based green cards. She also assists individuals with family-based immigration matters such as family-based adjustment of status petitions, I-751 petitions, and naturalization petitions.

Ms. Vrazdova graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, in September 2016. While studying at Charles University, Ms. Vrazdova interned at the Organization for Aid to Refugees in Prague, where she managed legal support for clients applying for asylum and subsidiary protection in the Czech Republic. Ms. Vrazdova also interned at the corporate department of a prestigious international law firm, Clifford Chance, where she advised on corporate mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Vrazdova won the Best Thesis Award at the Department of Labor Law at Charles University in Prague and won an award from Dentons, an esteemed international law firm, for her thesis comparing covenants not to compete in the United States and the Czech Republic.

During her studies at Charles University, Ms. Vrazdova was selected through a competitive process into an international dual degree program in cooperation with Nova Southeastern University. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Florida summa cum laude in May 2018. During her studies, she won the Cali Award for Highest Grade in class in Business Entities, Property, Legal Research and Writing II, and Torts.

Ms. Vrazdova was also a member of Nova Law Review and Moot Court Society. She placed 2nd in the Upperclassmen Feinreider Moot Court Competition and her team placed 5th in the U.S. Northeast round of the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Ms. Vrazdova was also awarded the Rebecca Knox Public Interest Law Summer Fellowship in her second year of law school. Ms. Vrazdova judged the Jessup U.S. Northeast Round in February 2019 and 2020.

Ms. Vrazdova was admitted into the New York Bar in February 2019. Ms. Vrazdova is admitted to practice law in New York. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the New York Women Bar Association. She currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Consular Practice Committee, AILA New York Chapter for 2022-2023.

Ms. Vrazdova is fluent in Czech and Slovak.
