Due to a Technical Issue, 2019 Diversity Visa Entrants who Submitted Entries Between October 3 and October 10 Must Resubmit

The Department of State made an announcement today, October 16 that due to a technical issue the DV-2019 entry period that commenced on October 3 has been closed. All DV-2019 entries submitted between October 3-10 have been excluded from the system as invalid and those entries affected by this technical upset must be resubmitted. The entry period will begin anew on noon, Wednesday 18, 2017 EST and run until noon on Wednesday 22, 2017. Only entries submitted during this period will be accepted and consideration for selection in the lottery. Any invalid entries between October 3-10 will not count as duplicate entries during this new entry period.
