Scott Legal was able to successfully help a Citizen of Burma obtain Temporary Protected Status. The case was a bit complex because the applicant had extensive travel history that USCIS alleged may have disqualified her because of the potential of resettling in a different country to seek protection. However, we were able to explain to USCIS that this travel occurred before Burma was designated for TPS protection and as a result was not subject to a negative finding of firm resettlement.
