Our managing attorney Kelly Weiner attended the AILA PERM conference in Washington on December 7th. The full day conference was an advanced session focusing on the employment based green card when an employer requires labor certification. The conference focused on the latest PERM trends and representatives from the Department of Labor were present to give perspective and answer questions.
The labor certification process is required when applicants are applying for an EB-2 or EB-3 green card and requires that the company show that a qualified U.S. person is not available for the job.
We welcome Ms. Weiner back to share what she learned at the PERM Green Card Conference.
