We are pleased to announce that Ms. Stephanie M. Mendez, will join Scott Legal P.C. as a Legal Assistant in our New York office. Ms. Mendez comes from an Ecuadorian and Colombian background. She came to the United States at the age of 11 with her parents to start a new future and pursue, like many, the American Dream. Ms. Mendez is currently a full-time student at LaGuardia Community college majoring in Liberal Arts: Media Studies. Previously, Ms. Mendez worked for three years at a New York based Law Firm as a Legal Assistant where she started as a receptionist and was promoted to the position of Legal Assistant. In this role Ms. Mendez assisted attorneys with Family Petitions, Adjustment of Status, Citizenship applications, Consular Processing visas, and enhanced the reputation of the Law Firm. Ms. Mendez is fluent in Spanish.
