Kelly R. LeGrand Weiner spoke on E-2 visa issues at a Corporate Practice Committee event for AILA’s New York chapter as part of a larger conversation with business immigration practitioners on a variety of current business immigration topics. This committee focuses on corporate immigration issues and visas including H-1B, PERM, E-2, L-1, O-1 and other Corporate matters.
The Treaty Investor (E-2) visa category allow nationals of countries with which the United States maintains a special treaty to be admitted to the United States when investing in a U.S. entity. As other visa categories grow increasingly restrictive, the E-1/E-2 can be a great option for those that qualify.
