Kelly LeGrand Weiner to sit on B Visa Panel at the AILA-RDC EMEA Spring Conference

By February 7, 2020March 31st, 2021News

Our Managing Attorney, Kelly LeGrand Weiner has been selected to sit on a panel with other immigration attorneys to share knowledge on B visas and entering the U.S. as a visitor.  The AILA-RDC EMEA spring conference is attended by many immigration lawyers from the U.S. and also those practicing in the EMEA region. The spring conference will be held this year in Yerevan, Armenia.  Ms. LeGrand Weiner will sit on a panel and cover issues surrounding travel to the U.S. under ESTA or a B visa.

In particular, the panel will discuss CBP issues in travel under ESTA; best practices with regard to the preparation of varying nationalities for CBP clearance and/ or consular appearances; Commercial worker and B-1 in lieu of H-1 visa applications; and corporate liability for employees traveling under ESTA or the B visa category (insurance; tax; immigration status issues). The panel will also discuss cases and varying consular/ CBP adjudications.

We are thrilled that Kelly LeGrand Weiner was selected to be on the panel and look forward to sharing knowledge during the conference.
