
We just had an approval for a TN Economist at the USCBP Port of Entry in Norton, Vermont. The applicant, a Canadian national, had been offered a job as an Economist for a hedge fund. The applicant possessed a degree in Economics from an Ivy League university. USCIS recently issued a policy member clarifying the types of work activities permissible under the Economist category, and the applicant’s degree in Economics was an important factor in the TN approval.
