We were retained to help a client prepare and submit a response to a request for evidence (RFE) on an E2 USCIS renewal (extension of status) petition they had submitted on their own. The applicant, a UK national, is the owner-operator of a valet trash collection business in Florida. USCIS asked for more information about the company’s ownership, performance, and hiring. We were able to present all the information requested and support the merits of the case, and the case was ultimately approved. The applicant was granted E2 status for another 2 years. For applicants already in the United States on a valid E2 status, an extension of status petition can be filed with USCIS, and applicants can request premium processing to receive a decision within 15 days.
