Ms. Gilliam Pace advises individuals on nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters, with a particular focus on business immigration. She has significant expertise with employment-based visas, including O-1A visas for individuals with extraordinary ability, EB-1A green cards, and National Interest Waivers (NIW). Additionally, Ms. Gilliam Pace regularly assists clients with family-based immigration petitions and naturalization processes.
Ms. Gilliam Pace graduated from Charlotte School of Law with a Juris Doctor in 2017 and is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Lock Haven University in 2011. During law school, she gained hands-on experience in immigration law through various internships, including with the Human Rights Clinic at Charlotte School of Law, where she supervised fellow students and managed permanent residency petitions.
As a student attorney, Ms. Gilliam Pace played a key role in a human rights investigation at the Stewart Detention Center, where she collaborated with the Human Rights Clinic team to conduct interviews with detainees regarding their experiences, many of which were indicative of potential human rights violations. The investigation culminated in a comprehensive research report that provided recommendations for improving conditions at the facility and enhancing the treatment and overall experience of detainees.
Prior to joining her current position, Ms. Gilliam Pace worked as an immigration attorney where she managed a diverse caseload of employment-based and family-based immigration matters. She successfully represented clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR), including defending clients in first-impression cases against actions brought by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Her previous experience also includes work as a Document Review Attorney at Morgan Lewis & Bockius, where she handled complex litigation document reviews.
In early 2024, Ms. Gilliam Pace was honored as one of the select 2.5 percent of attorneys recognized by Super Lawyers as a 2024 Rising Star in Immigration Law for the state of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Gilliam Pace is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania only.
