Anneliese Aberg Scalzo is a legal research analyst at Scott Legal, P.C. Anneliese has dedicated the last two and a half years working on employment-based immigration cases with a large immigration firm. She has assisted hundreds of clients ranging from self-employed entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 companies.
Anneliese has experience with both immigrant and non-immigrant petitions, and has particular expertise with drafting Extraordinary Ability cases such as EB1, EB2 National Interest Waiver (NIW), and O-1 visas.
Due to her intimate knowledge of each case type’s requirements, Anneliese has also assisted with interview preparation and with profile assessments. She has also spent a significant amount of time assisting with Legal Permanent Residency documents, including green cards (Form I-485), work permits (I-765), and travel documents (Form I-131). In addition, she has managed petitions for dependents, and has also responded to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) from USCIS.
Prior to working in immigration, Anneliese exposed herself to numerous areas of law by completing internships in criminal defense, real estate, and family law. Anneliese also has a combined three years of writing persuasive, explanatory content for non-governmental organizations and small businesses such as the Prague Society of International Cooperation and Elevate Wealth Planning, LLC, respectively. She also completed a one-year fellowship with the Regional Academy of the United Nations (RAUN) while in graduate school.
Anneliese is fluent in English with working proficiency in Swedish and French. She obtained an undergraduate degree in World Literature with minors in Business Administration and Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and graduated magna cum laude from Anglo American University in Prague, Czechia with a Master’s in International Relations & Diplomacy. Additionally, she completed international business coursework at Sichuan University in Chengdu, China and contemporary political studies at Wroxton College in Oxfordshire, U.K.
