Scott Legal, P.C. has started a new E-2 and E-1 visa support page! The first E-2 visa petition that the firm ever filed was for the founder and as such we are well aware of the questions and anxiety that come up surrounding the process. We created this group to share experiences and ideas about the E-1 and E-2 visa approval process as well as experiences and assistance regarding living in the U.S. The group is open to those thinking of applying for an E-1 or E-2 visa as well as those who already have one. We welcome you to the new group!

I want to extend my E-2 visa with USCIS and realized my passport is expired. Do I have to have a valid passport when applying for an extension of status with USCIS? Do I have to have a valid passport even if I don’t plan to travel outside the U.S.?
