USCIS Extends RFE and NOID Flexibility to Regional Center Notice of Intent to Terminate

By April 2, 2020December 2nd, 2020Covid 19

USCIS has announced on March 27 that it is adopting measures to assist applicants and petitioners who are responding to requests for evidence (RFE) or notices of intent to deny (NOID) dated between March 1 and May 1, 2020. Any applicants who have received an RFE or NOID between these days have an extra 60 calendar days after the deadline set forth in the notice to respond. USCIS will consider any response submitted within the extra 60 days. USCIS has now extended this flexibility to Regional Centers that have received a Notice of Intent to Terminate or Revoke. The EB-5 investor visa is a green card option for an immigrant entrepreneur that would like to buy or start a business (Direct Investment) or an investor who wants to invest in a job creation project such as the building of a railway (Regional Center).
