Yes. Australian nationals are not subject to the residency requirement that UK nationals are. As such, you can apply for an E-2 visa. Please contact us if you would like to set up a one hour consultation. Kind regards,

We are planning in buying a franchise and I wanted to ask you if the franchisor’s financial background and longevity in franchising plays a major role in the approval process of an E2 application.

Thank you for contacting us. I do not see a problem getting an E-2 visa approved even if you are new to the business and do not have a financial background but the outcome would depend on the facts and circumstances. Please let me know if you would like to set up a one hour consultation.
