This seminar will go over the removal process in court including what situations may place a noncitizen in jeopardy for removal and what are the potential options to defend against removal including qualifying for certain benefits under immigration law that could potentially grant the noncitizen an immigration or protected status that will prevent removal while allowing a noncitizen to stay in the United States.

When a noncitizen of the United States commits certain immigration law violations, such a noncitizen may face the prospect of being removed also known as being deported from the United States. This process where the noncitizen must face an immigration judge where the judge determines whether to remove the noncitizen is known as a removal proceeding.
